The EWG Sr. High Band will be performing in the 2015 West Greenwich Memorial Day Parade. The performance is a graded class requirement, but would like to stress the importance of our civic duties this time of year. In the era that we live, it would be easy to distract ourselves from celebrating the lives and accomplishments of our Servicemen and Women. The parade is MONDAY, MAY 25, and begins at 1:30, so we will meet at 12:45pm. The meeting point is approximately 1 mile north of the West Greenwich Town Hall on 102 (Victory Highway), at the West Greenwich/Coventry town line (near the animal hospital), Parking is limited so I suggest that parents drop students off, or to park at WG town hall and walk to the beginning of the route. UNIFORM: EWG Band polo shirt, Khaki (light colored) shorts, sneakers (NOT FLIP FLOPS). You are ALLOWED to wear baseball hats and sunglasses. I strongly suggest some Sunscreen, too. See you there! |
