Dear Parents of Junior High Band Members,

 On Wednesday, April 13, 2011, the EWG Junior High Band will be taking a performance trip to the RIMEA (Rhode Island Music Educator’s Association) Junior High Band Festival.  Our students will be performing for Junior High School musicians from across the State, and will hear performances from other school groups as well. 

 Students will leave from our school at approximately 11:00am, and will return at approximately 3:00pm.  Since we are returning after school hours, students/parents will please have to arrange for rides.  There is no need to provide additional funds for lunch, since we will eat before we leave the school.  Should you have issues with the cost of this trip, please contact me at the school at either (401) 397-6898 ext. 43 or email me at Gregg_Charest@ewg.k12.ri.us.  PLEASE RETURN ALL PERMISSION SLIPS NOT LATER THAN THURSDAY, March 31, 2011.

 I am in need of SEVERAL chaperones for this trip, so if you are able to attend it would be greatly appreciated.  Please fill out the attached form, and return it to me as soon as possible.  You must have a school approved background check to attend – please see the band website’s “Important Documents” page for more details.  Thanks in advance for your support!
