On Wednesday, April 25, 2018, the EWG Music Department will travel to New York City to attend a performance of “A Bronx Tale” at the Longacre Theatre. Tickets for this performance are available on a first come, first served basis, and cost $165.00 each. This includes bus transportation/driver tip to and from New York, and tickets in the balcony level. New this year: this price INCLUDES DINNER at the Hard Rock Café near Times Square. To secure your place on the trip, a deposit of $90 is due starting on TUESDAY, November 14, but no later than WEDNESDAY, November 29, 2017. You are welcome to pay for the entire trip at once (it certainly makes life easier for me), and may also choose to apply your band/chorus fundraiser money towards this trip. An up to date list of account balances will be posted on the band and chorus websites shortly. All checks should be made out to: P.O.P.S. We prefer that you please send your deposit into school with students, who will then give it to Mr. Charest. Remember, first come, first served! Our New York trips sell out year after year, and we expect this year to be no different. We are in need of 1 chaperone for every 5 students who attend this trip (25 chaperones in all), so all parents are certainly welcome (and must fill out and pass the district’s background check). Chaperones should also send a $90.00 deposit at this time. If you have financial concerns and require scholarship money, we may be able to help.
